Just like your car, equipment needs regular overhaul and maintenance. Regular maintenance is important to ensure the quality and lifetime of your equipment. That’s why we offer periodic maintenance, overhaul, repairs and modifications. With these services, we make sure that your equipment is in optimal condition. After we have conducted these services, we can provide you with all the necessary certification and documentation.
Overhaul and maintenance lengthens the lifetime of your equipment, saving you time and money in the long term. In addition to project-related maintenance, your equipment needs maintenance typically every three to five years. However, the exact time will depend on the frequency and intensity of its use.
We can look at supporting your upcoming projects by creating a maintenance schedule that is suited to the needs of your work and equipment. If you’re not sure when you need maintenance, please contact us so we can advise you, and schedule an appointment. During this appointment, our trained personnel will inspect your equipment and give you advice on the steps needed to get it back to its highest productivity levels. This will also give you a realistic picture of what needs to be done for the maintenance of your equipment and the related costs. The inspections are entirely free of any obligation.
Along with periodic maintenance, overhaul and repairs are necessary for your equipment. These can be done either at our main yard in the Netherlands or at one of our international yards. Before any repair begins, we first share with you all the findings from our inspection report, following which we begin any agreed overhaul or repairs.
We find that transparency is very important. We would therefore like to invite you to join us at our yard during an overhaul or repair so you can inspect your disassembled equipment. This will give you a clear and straightforward view of what’s needed for your repair.
Not all projects demand the same features from your equipment. This means that equipment sometimes needs to be modified to suit your project’s requirements. At IQIP, we can assist you with these modifications. Our team of engineers is ready to discuss and review your requirements. Once we have determined what modifications you require, our experienced production personnel will apply them to your equipment.
As the owner of the equipment, you have to ensure that all your materials and equipment comply with the rules and regulations that apply to your area of business. We can arrange the right certification and documentation for you so that you don’t have to deal with this time-consuming exercise. This also applies to the testing of your equipment for recertification, whether it needs to be done through Lloyd’s Register, DNV, Bureau Veritas, the American Bureau of Shipping, or any other classification society depending on your needs.
