Your work
As a Service Technician based in Sliedrecht, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of IQIP’s specialized foundation and installation equipment. You will work in our local yard, ensuring our equipment is in top condition before it is deployed to offshore and onshore projects around the world. This is a non-traveling position focused on hands-on technical service, involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical tasks to keep our systems running smoothly and reliably.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections of heavy mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnose technical issues, working with engineering and service colleagues to find solutions.

  • Prepare equipment for mobilization to project sites.

  • Ensure all work is done safely, according to procedures and quality standards.

  • Keep accurate maintenance records and contribute to service documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement of service procedures and equipment performance.

Your profile

  • A completed technical education (MBO level 3 or 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field.

  • Work experience in a technical service or maintenance role, preferably in heavy industry.

  • Practical knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and basic electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Hands-on, accurate, and safety-conscious approach.

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and preferably English.

  • Willingness to work on-site in Sliedrecht (non-offshore role).
