Earlier this year, we introduced our fully integrated Vibro-Hydrohammer combination—a solution that brings together the best of hydraulic impact and vibratory technologies. Our Vibro-Hydrohammer solution is optimized for challenging and complex project requirements. It combines fast, low-noise vibratory installation with the precision and power of hydraulic impact driving—all from a single supplier. The vibratory hammer enables rapid progress until refusal, after which the Hydrohammer takes over to drive the pile to final depth, even in hard soils.
Just recently, a Vibrohammer F8 and Hydrohammer® S-600 crossed the Channel to support the construction of a new berth at London Gateway. We’re proud to see our Vibro-Hydrohammer combination in action on this project, where a total of 187 piles will be installed.
The Hydrohammer spread includes a custom-engineered clutch sleeve fitted with non-metallic plates to comply with UK regulation and reduce noise during piling.
