During the upending of long foundation piles, it is necessary to create a fixed hinge point for the piles and our Saddle & Hook was specifically designed for this work. In operation, the Hook, which is retrievable via a winch, would takes the axial load of piles; whereas the Saddle is utilised to guide foundation piles during upending, creating a fixed turning point. These tools provide an extension of the crane working window, your offshore installation time is significantly redcuced.
