Your work

As a Senior Software and Data Engineer at IQIP, you work at the intersection of industrial technology and digital innovation. You design, develop, and maintain software applications and data platforms that support the performance of our advanced installation equipment—including the Hydrohammer® and PULSE® systems. Your work directly contributes to how IQIP collects, processes, and uses data from real offshore and onshore operations. From building robust data pipelines to developing monitoring dashboards and control software, you play a key role in making IQIP’s equipment smarter and more efficient.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications and data platforms that support IQIP’s equipment and operational processes

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for the collection, processing, and storage of operational and sensor data

  • Develop dashboards and visualisation tools that provide actionable insights to engineering and project teams

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project engineers to integrate software solutions into physical equipment systems

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms

  • Support the development of real-time monitoring and control systems for offshore and onshore operations

  • Contribute to software architecture decisions and maintain clear technical documentation

  • Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of continuous improvement

  • Stay current with developments in software engineering, data engineering, and industrial IoT

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field

  • At least 5 years of experience in software and/or data engineering roles

  • Proficiency in Python and/or other relevant programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, or SQL

  • Experience with data pipeline tools and platforms such as Apache Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or similar

  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

  • Familiarity with industrial data protocols such as OPC-UA or Modbus is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions

  • Clear communication skills; able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with a keen eye for quality and detail
