24/7 Technical Support Engineer (Replacement)

Responsibility:

  • Provide technical support for IQIP equipment in offshore and onshore operations from our operation control room in Johor Bahru.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues remotely or in the field

  • Coordinate with field service engineers, project teams, and customers to ensure rapid response

  • Log and track service calls, creating clear reports for continuous improvement

  • Assist in remote commissioning and system checks

  • Participate in the standby rotation schedule with international colleagues

  • Support preventive maintenance planning and remote training when needed

Qualification:

  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering

  • Minimum three years of experience in technical support or service, preferably in offshore or heavy equipment industries with experience in mechanical and hydraulic.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call for international time zones

  • Fluency in English in verbal communication and written

  • Willing to travel occasionally to support urgent offshore interventions

  • Remuneration package will be based on experience
