Your Work
As a Control Engineer at IQIP, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our own heavy equipment. We design, assemble and maintain this at our Yard in Sliedrecht or on location with our clients onshore and offshore. Your technical expertise will ensure the integration of technologies and creating new products as mentioned above. You will collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders, translating technical and operational hurdles into functional solutions.
Your Responsibilities

Create detailed functional descriptions for control and automation systems.

Plan, coordinate, and execute projects within set timelines and budgets, overseeing the technical scope and mitigating risks effectively.

Develop and manage your tasked projects

Support the commissioning and acceptance testing of automation systems, collaborating closely with our contractors and team members.

Provide technical leadership, engaging with colleagues to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of new-build and large modification projects.
Your Profile

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Extensive experience in designing and managing control systems, including PLC and SCADA systems.

Expertise in process control technologies such as hydraulic systems and industrial automation.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex technical projects from conception to delivery.

A proactive team player who can inspire and motivate colleagues while thriving in a challenging and dynamic environment.
