Your work
As Lead Work Preparator at IQIP, you are responsible for managing and coordinating all preparatory activities for the manufacturing and assembly of our high-end offshore equipment. You lead a team of work preparators and act as the key link between engineering, production, and project management. Your role ensures that all required materials, drawings, documentation, and planning are ready on time to guarantee an efficient and high-quality production process.
Your responsibilities

Lead and support a team of work preparators within the manufacturing department

Translate technical drawings and engineering input into practical work instructions and planning

Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and documentation for production

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production to resolve planning and technical issues

Monitor progress, quality, and costs during preparation phases

Identify process improvements and implement standardisation within work preparation

Maintain accurate documentation in ERP and planning systems

Act as a sparring partner for production and ensure alignment with project goals
Your profile
-
MBO+/HBO level education in a technical or mechanical discipline

Several years of experience in a work preparation or planning role within a technical production environment

Leadership skills and experience in coordinating a small team

Strong technical insight and ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools

Hands-on, organised, and solution-oriented approach

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
