IQIP, the global leader in pile driving and handling equipment, is looking for an Offshore Service Technician. Together with our 400 colleagues across the globe, we provide smart and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. Our work extends both at sea, where we contribute to wind farm and oil & gas projects, and on land, where we engage in projects related to bridges and ports. You will be contributing to ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and effectively in challenging environments, playing a crucial role in the successful completion of projects worldwide.
Your work
As an Offshore Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational support of our specialized equipment. Your role involves working in diverse and challenging offshore environments, ensuring the reliability and performance of our tools and machinery. You will work closely with our engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on offshore equipment.
- Providing operational support, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure equipment meets project specifications and performance standards.
- Training and advising client personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Your profile
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
- Proven experience in an offshore or marine environment, preferably in service or maintenance roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel and work in offshore locations worldwide.
