Your work
As the R&D Lead Engineer, you will spearhead new innovations within IQIP. This role involves leading research and development projects aimed at creating cutting-edge solutions for complex engineering challenges. You will be involved in all stages of product development, from concept creation to field testing, and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to market. Your expertise in practical applications, out of the box thinking, patent processes, and field testing will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will stay ahead of industry trends and ensure IQIP remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
Your Responsibilities

Lead R&D projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring successful and innovative outcomes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new technologies and improve existing solutions.

Oversee testing and practical applications to validate research and ensure robust, real-world performance.

Manage the patent process for new inventions, protecting IQIP’s innovations and intellectual property.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities for research and product development.

Act as the technical authority for R&D within the company, providing leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Liaise with external partners, including universities and research institutes, to foster collaboration and bring new ideas to IQIP.
Your profile

Master’s or Bachelor in Engineering
-
Proven experience in R&D, particularly in complex technical environments such as offshore, oil & gas, or heavy industry.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical projects, from concept to completion.

Innovative mindset, with the ability to translate theoretical research into practical solutions.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
