Your work
In this role, you will be responsible for representing IQIP’s full portfolio and actively developing new business opportunities in Australia and New Zealand. With a focus on growing our presence across multiple industries, such as Oil & Gas, Coastal & Civil, and Decommissioning. You will identify valuable projects that present opportunities for IQIP. follow up on offers in person, and convert leads into long-term relationships. A large part of your time will be spent meeting clients face-to-face, understanding their challenges, and offering solutions that match their technical and commercial needs. Your initiative and relationship-building skills will be key to your success in this role.
Your responsibilities

Identify projects suitable for IQIP’s product portfolio

Build a robust pipeline of sales opportunities

In-person sales follow up throughout Australia and New Zealand

Manage sales opportunities from lead generation, through to RFQ, bid refinement, negotiation and conversion to order

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular visits and engagement

Represent IQIP at industry exhibitions, conferences, networking events

Translate customer needs into tailored solutions by working with internal teams

Work closely with the Australian-based colleagues and coordinate with global teams

Take initiative in understanding technical applications and customer-specific challenges
Your profile

Proven experience in a similar technical sales role (mandatory)

Strong focus on sales acquisition

You thrive on being out and about seeking out the next project, and are equally motivated visiting construction sites as well as Tier 1 offices

Technical background or understanding of heavy industry sectors

Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset , driven by results

Strong communication skills, self-motivated, highly organised with meticulous attention to detail

You enjoy travel as part of your role and are able to travel through the region at short notice

Fluent in English

Bachelor level education or equivalent through experience
