For IQIP, we are looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician, who is excited to contribute to making the world more sustainable. We at IQIP, the global leader in installation and foundation technology in both on- and offshore markets are interested in speaking with people who are keen on working with electric/hydraulic equipment and whose feedback is going to help up improving our products.
With 350 colleagues globally, we work on smart solutions within the Offshore Wind, Coastal & Civil, Decommissioning and Oil & Gas markets to make the world greener.
Are you a skilled technician who likes to work with smart and innovative tools? Are you keen on taking part in big projects, where travel is required? If so, we might be the right place for you to further your career!
As a Service Technician you will carry out work on client projects all over the world – such as foundation installations for offshore wind farms, through which thousands of homes will be supplied with green energy. You will spend regularly time offshore and will work in teams of 2 to 6 people per project. You will of course receive support from our office team, sometimes even through smart vision glasses!
Our Service Technicians maintain, repair, commission and (digitally) operate our hydraulic equipment (hammers and handling tools). In case there is no offshore project to deliver, you’ll be working in our yards in Australia on our equipment.
The following values are important for us:
- You live and breathe technology, are a self-starter and you aim to deliver each project successfully.
- You work well under time pressure.
- You are service-oriented and flexible: there is nothing “impossible”.
- You prioritize safety while working towards clear targets.
- You take ownership – You don’t wait, don’t complain but handle the issues at hand.
Furthermore, you’ll speak English, have a driving license and are happy to travel internationally for variable periods. You are also happy to acquire necessary vaccinations. We would appreciate a few years of work experience in a similar function, next to a completed diploma, preferably in or related to mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical engineering.
You will of course take part in necessary training about our products before you start working on our projects.
