Your work
As a Welder at IQIP in Sliedrecht, you will work on the welding of large steel components that are used in advanced offshore and onshore equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out welding work to exact technical specifications and welding procedures. Your work is essential to the strength, safety, and reliability of our heavy equipment, which is used in challenging environments around the world.
Your responsibilities

Perform MIG/MAG welding on heavy steel structures and parts

Work from technical drawings and welding instructions

Carry out preparatory work such as grinding and fitting

Ensure high-quality welds through visual and measurement checks

Perform rework and repairs as needed

Follow welding procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards

Collaborate with fitters, machinists, and quality control inspectors
Your profile
-
MBO level education in metalwork or welding technology
-
Valid welding certifications (MIG/MAG), or willingness to obtain them
-
Experience in welding heavy steel components, preferably in a manufacturing or offshore-related environment

Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings
-
Precise, quality-focused, and safety-aware work attitude
-
Team player with good communication skills in Dutch; English is a plus
