Your work
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will work in our local Engineering team in Sliedrecht. You will contribute to designing and adapting high-quality, in-house developed equipment used for foundation and installation in dynamic offshore and onshore environments. This role offers direct involvement in projects where technical knowledge, creativity, and practical execution come together. You will see your designs take shape and be part of solutions that are implemented globally.

Your responsibilities

  • Support your team members with 2D and 3D design using Solid Edge.

  • Create complete engineering packages that meet company standards and project-specific requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to develop innovative engineering solutions.

  • Take part in technical meetings with clients to align on project needs and expectations.

  • Actively contribute to improving equipment design and functionality.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

  • A passion for technology and sustainable innovation.

  • Strong interest in heavy machinery and offshore/onshore equipment.

  • Experience with CAD software, preferably Solid Edge.

  • Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
