Your work
As an Offshore Service Technician, you will be deployed worldwide to offshore projects where IQIP’s advanced equipment is used for installation and foundation work. You will be responsible for commissioning, operating, and maintaining hydraulic and mechanical systems in harsh marine environments. In this role, you ensure reliable and safe performance of equipment on-site while supporting our clients and project teams during mission-critical operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform commissioning, service, and maintenance work on offshore equipment

  • Operate hydraulic hammers and handling systems during offshore installation projects

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site

  • Work closely with engineers, project teams, and clients to ensure safe and efficient execution

  • Keep detailed records of service work and provide feedback for continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards in offshore environments

Your profile

  • Technical education (MBO level 3 or 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field

  • Experience in offshore or field service roles is preferred

  • Solid understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems

  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work under pressure in remote conditions

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Willing and able to travel and work offshore for extended periods

  • Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET, HUET, medicals) or willingness to obtain them
