Your work
As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in developing account plans and targets, including sales forecasts, budgets, and objectives. You will continuously monitor industry developments, contributing to the innovation of products and improvement in sales and account management strategies. Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential accounts, you will act as a business partner, understanding their needs and presenting IQIP’s solutions. Your role is pivotal in identifying sales leads, managing quote requests, and following up on leads to grow our business in the Asia-Pacific region.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and contribute to strategic account planning, aligning with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with potential and existing accounts, acting as a key business partner.
- Identify and pursue sales leads, and manage the quote request process to ensure effective follow-up.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and promote IQIP solutions.
- Expand our network of stakeholders and partners and represent IQIP at external events such as conferences and seminars.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team and with clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in the Oil & Gas and/or Offshore Wind industry.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Proficient in report writing and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with a European organization is preferred.
- Flexible, with a self-starting approach and confident in creating solutions that meet customer needs.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region.
